Traffic stop turns drug arrest of a Roanoke couple in Luray

The Luray Police Police Department reports that  a traffic stop turned into a drug arrest on June 5 on Route 211 west of the town.

A Luray Police Officer initiated the traffic stop on a passenger vehicle for a verity of violations around 3 p.m.

A search of the vehicle was initiated and 90 packets of suspected Fentanyl and Heroin were seized along with Methamphetamine.

Derrell Eugene Frederick has been charged with possession of Fentanyl, Heroin, and Methamphetamine.

All three charges are felonies.

Danielle Marie Walter Frederick has been charged with the intent to sell Fentanyl, and Heroin which are also felony charges.

Both are from Roanoke Virginia and are currently being held without bond at the Page County jail.
