Condolences for the family of H. Russell “Russ” Potts Jr. were posted all over social media from Governor Elect Glenn Youngkin, Congresswoman Wexton to the Mayor of Winchester and others.

All expressed sadness at the loss of the former senator who succumbed to health setbacks following an illness.

Potts was 82 and working on an autobiography before his death, no word on when that will be released.

An announcement on funeral arrangements for the former senator is expected soon.
