AM Radio in Every Vehicle Act is a step closer to becoming law

On July 27 the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation Officially passed the AM for Every Vehicle Act on to the Senate Floor.

The act mandates AM radios for every vehicle as a safety feature through the Department of Transportation.

The Act is now up for a full senate vote.

At last count the act has more than half of the necessary votes to pass by way of a simple majority.

There is currently no set voting date for the AM for Every Vehicle Act as congress prepares for a month’s recess.

The time is now, to contact your representatives or congressperson to make your voice known that the act needs to be passed.

The bill needs to be passed if for no other reason for the safety of the 82 million Americans who depend on AM radio.
