SCSO seeks information on subject in Malicious Wounding

Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) reports the need for help from the public in locating Matthew Midkiff of Woodstock.

Midkiff is wanted for Felony Aggravated Malicious Wounding in a January 2 incident in Edinburg.

Upon further investigation authorities obtained and executed a warrant on a building on Jewel Lane in Edinburg where a Methamphetamine laboratory was discovered.

Midkiff is wanted in the investigation of the laboratory and faces charges in the malicious wounding incident.

Midkiff also faces charges of Abduction, Cruelty to Children and Felony Possession of a firearm.

FCSO seek information on individuals in vehicle break ins

The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) announced that they are seeking information from the public in identifying individuals.

The subjects are believed to be involved with a recent rash of vehicle break ins and thefts.

The pair may have been involved with the recent break ins of vehicles at the Sports Plex at Commonwealth Court.

They may have also been involved with recent vehicle break ins and thefts of belongings at Jim Barnett Park, Winchester Country Club and Sherando Park.

The recent rash of thefts have led the Sheriff’s Office to implement a reminder for citizens to follow the 9 p.m. Routine.

This 9 p.m. Routine suggest that citizens hide valuables, lock doors on cars and buildings and make sure you know where your keys are by 9 p.m. each night.

VSP seek information on a fatal Warren County incident

Virginia State Police (VSP) report they are seeking the public’s help involving a fatal pedestrian accident on Interstate 66 in Warren County.

The incident occurred Sunday morning at approximately 3 o’clock near the exit 13 mile marker 14 location near Linden.

About a mile east of the Linden Front Royal exit a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.

The striking vehicle pulled over immediately and remained at the scene.

Another vehicle was already on the shoulder with two Hispanic males standing outside of it.

When the driver of the striking vehicle approached the males they got into their 4 door sedan and drove off.

The struck pedestrian died at the scene and has been transported to the Office of the Medical Examiner for positive identification and autopsy.

Identification on the struck person shows a male Hispanic in his mid 20’s possibly Honduran.

It is possible the victim was in the sedan prior to being struck.

Fairfax Authorities seek information on a fugitive

Fairfax Police Department announced that they are seeking information a fugitive.

Noah Settles also known as D.C. Rap artist No Savage is being sought by Fairfax County Police.

Settles is facing charges of attempted malicious wounding, discharging a weapon into an occupied building 3 times and use of a firearm in commission of a felony.

Settles displayed a firearm after he got into a fight with another group and fired multiple rounds.

No one was shot but three people were injured trying to flee the gun fire and the mall.

The three were transported to the hospital for treatment.

Tyson Corner Center closed early Saturday but reopened Sunday.

Settles fled the scene in a black Cadillac with D.C. tags he is considered armed and dangerous.

Shenandoah County Sheriff seeks information on theft

The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) announced that they a seeking information on the theft of an Edinburg Church.

Deputies are investigating a theft from the Wakeman’s Grove Church in Edinburg that occurred Mar. 27.

Around 1 a.m. security footage shows a subject wearing a mask and gloves with a backpack in the church after hours.

The individual is thought to have taken money, a bass guitar, two laptops and a credit card from the church.

WPD seeks information in a malicious wounding

Winchester Police Department (WPD) announced they are seeking information on Chanz Doleman.

The 30 year old Doleman is sought in connection with an aggravated malicious wounding incident.

The incident occurred in the early morning hours of Mar. 20 in the Gibbens St. area of Winchester.

Doleman may have been the shooter or at least involved with a shooting incident at that location.

Strasburg Police seek information on two cases of vandalism

Strasburg Police are investigating a case of a vandalized home and vehicle twice in as many months.

Several social media post from several Strasburg sources have shown vulgar words spray painted on the side of a home.

Many of those post have since been removed because of the vulgarity.

A recent incident included car windows being spray painted in the night as well.

Strasburg Police are monitoring the home and have some leads.

Luray Police seek information on a home invasion and car theft

According to a Luray Police Department (LPD) social media post authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a stolen 2007 Laser Blue Chevrolet Equinox.

The vehicle has a Virginia Registration 3160CC with slight damage to the passenger side door and rear fender.

An abandoned vehicle was found near the scene on Old Farm Rd..

That vehicle is a 2006 bright blue Kia with Texas plates.

The Kia is registered to a Harrisonburg subject named Gonzalez who may be involved in the incident.

The Equinox was stolen during a home invasion early yesterday Oct. 31 in the Collins Ave. area.

FCSO seeks information on an assault and stabbing incident

The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) posted on their social media page that they are seeking information from the public.

Reportedly there were three suspects involved in an assault and stabbing at 81 Bar and Grill on Gateway Dr. in Winchester.

The subjects are described as a black male with short hair and maybe blind in one eye.

A second suspect was described as a short black female with waist length brown and blonde hair.

The third suspect was described as a black female with short hair.

Their motorcycle was parked in the handicapped area of the bar and authorities know several people recorded the incident.

The FCSO is asking those with recordings or anyone with information call Winchester, Frederick, Clarke Crime Solvers (WFCCS).

SCSO seeking information on child porn suspect

Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) is seeking information in the investigation of John Augustine Sims.

The 36 year old Front Royal resident has been implicated in a child pornography case.

Sims, a former employee of Kidz Rec, is facing a number of charges involving photographing and possessing child pornography.

Sims is believed to have had contact with other juveniles in the area.
