UWNSV President and CEO announces her departure

A press release from the United Way of the Northern Shenandoah Valley (UWNSV) announced the departure of their current President and CEO.

After seven years in her position Nadine M. Bullock-Pottinga has decided to resign effective December 31.

Bullock-Pottinga has taken a position with an unnamed national organization that serves Veterans.

She will start in her new position with the new organization in the new year.

The press release went on to state some of the accomplishments of the UWNSV under Bullock-Pottinga’s Presidency.

Under her leadership the UWNSV has experienced unprecedented growth in revitalizing fund raising efforts for the organization.

She is credited with UWNSV’s adoption of the ALICE program along with being a leader in the response, recovery and rebuilding during the pandemic.

Dr. Cheryl Thompson-Stacy has been named the interim President CEO until a replacement is found.
