NVRDGTF arrest several in Operation Valley Venue X

The Virginia State Police (VSP) in a press release confirmed the conclusion of Operation Valley Venue X.

In conjunction with the Northwest Virginia Regional Drug and Gang Task Force (NVRDGTF)  concluded Operation Valley Venue X Oct. 28.

The three-day operation concentrated on identifying and arresting individuals for trafficking, manufacturing and distributing illegal narcotics in the region.

In total 58 felons were arrested along with 6 probation violators being identified and 4 misdemeanor charges being issued.

During the operation 237 grams of methamphetamine, 35 grams of heroin and 20 capsules of heroin, 7 grams of fentanyl, 80 pressed fentanyl pills, 35 grams of cocaine, 51 grams of crack cocaine and 60 grams of marijuana were confiscated in the operation.

In all a street value of over $42,000.00 in drugs, 2 firearms and over $1,300.00 in currency were seized.

Authorities from Page, Shenandoah, Clarke Counties along with the Front Royal and Winchester Police Departments were a part of the annual operation.
