2nd annual Shenandoah Apple Blossom Labor Day Weekend

For the second year in a row Shenandoah Apple Blossom and Concern Hotline will team up for a 3 day Labor Day Weekend  celebration.

It all starts Fri.Sept. 2 with the 23 annual Concern Hotline Friday Fish Fry from 4 until 9 p.m. with the band Junk Food.

Sat. Sept. 4 from noon until 7 p.m. the second annual Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival Honey Car BBQ and Brews Event begins.

Local Barbecue will be the feature at the event with live entertainment throughout the weekend including College Football monitoring with large screens on the grounds.

Sept. 4 from noon until 6 p.m. more barbecue, games and live entertainment will be featured.

News Maker Dario Savarese on SABF Events

Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival (SABF) is just heating up with a new Festival event tonight Apr. 26 the Veteran’s Dinner and Show starts at 5 at Millwood Station.

We spoke with SABF Marketing Director Dario Savarese in our latest news maker.

Dario tells us of the dances that are still to come this week.

Dario has the latest on the Oldies, 80’s and 90’s dance parties which pick up tomorrow Apr. 27.

He also tells us that Sunday in the park is set with entertainer Robbie Limon.

SABF recognizes local athletes

Shenandoah Apple Blossom 2022

The Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival will recognize some of the area’s top athletes at the upcoming Sports Breakfast.

Athletes representing Warren County include Skyline’s Ethan Caperton and Warren County’s Will Waller.

Frederick County Public School’s nominated athletes include  Avery O’Roke of Millbrook, Ella Carlson of Sherando, and Jaden Ashby from James Wood.

Private school honorees include Mountain View Christian Academy’s Alle Jerles, and Legacy Christian Academy’s Mikayla Combs.

Handley’s Stephen Daley and Clarke County’s Dain Booker round out the high school honorees.

Olivia Weinel will represent Shenandoah University at the event.

Shenandoah Apple Blossom promises a full festival this year

Shenandoah Apple Blossom 2022

In a press release from Shenandoah Apple Blossom Executive Director Bradley Veach the theme for the 2022 festival is Bloomin’ Good Times.

The release went on to state that this year’s festival is a full slate of events after two years of a scaled back festival because of the pandemic.

All parades, dances, events, celebrities and festivities will be take place Apr. 22 through May 1, 2022.

The midway and carnival will also be available this coming 95th year of the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival.

Announcements of future events and celebrities are fourth coming with tickets going on sale in Jan. 2022 at thebloom.com.
