News Maker Carol Nansel on restarting 4-H in Fort Valley
4-H hopes to revive the club in Fort Valley with a meeting scheduled Sun. Jan. 9 at 4 p.m. at the Fort Valley Fire Hall.
We spoke with Shenandoah County Extension Agent Carol Nansel about the meeting and 4-H in our latest news maker.

VA. Cooperative Extension extends a deadline
Due to bad weather the deadline for new livestock members to enroll in either 4-H or FFA has been extended to Feb. 10 in Shenandoah County.
4-H/FFA Exhibitors must enroll by that deadline to show livestock at the 2021 Shenandoah County Fair.
