We are all invited to attend the Gaf-n-Go Line Worker’s Rodeo in Doswell Virginia.

This is an annual event that shows off the abilities of Electrical Line Workers.

As we do every first Friday of the month we spoke to Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative (SVEC) CEO and President Greg Rogers in our latest news maker.

The good news is brought to you by The Town of Front Royal.

Greg tells us about this fun and competitive event May 13 and 14.

He also tells us that any Line Worker is able to enter the competition.

Greg also tells us how the competition allows the general public to view the remarkable work that the Line Workers do all the time.

News Maker Greg Rogers of SVEC for the month of March

Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative (SVEC) awarded almost $24,000 to various charities in each county it serves.

As we do the first Friday of every month we check in with SVEC in our latest news maker.

This month SVEC President and CEO Greg Rogers is with us and tells about Operation Round Up.

Operation Round Up is a chance for SVEC to give back to the communities they serve.

Through the generosity of their member owners SVEC is able to help these various organizations.
