Sherando announces new coaches for spring sports
Sherando High School Administration announced the hiring of three new head coaches today.
Craig Bodenschatz will take over the baseball program after serving as an assistant for the last 28 seasons under long time Head Coach Pepper Martin.
He was the Associate Head Coach the last 10 years and part of the 2013 State Championship team.
Seth Wade takes the reigns of Sherando boy’s soccer from Pat Anderson who led the team for 30 years and retired after last season.
Wade is a 2017 Sherando graduate and played soccer collegiately at Division III Grove City College.
Jason Robertson, the current boy’s tennis coach, will also lead the girl’s tennis team in the spring.
He has been a member of both coaching staffs for the last three years.
Robertson previously served Frederick County as the Director of Parks and Recreation.
All three coaches are also teachers at Sherando.
