Suspect identified in Sunday’s Manassas shooting
Prince William County Police Department have announced a suspect in the shooting that occurred Sunday in Manassas.
Authorities responded to a shooting Sun. morning May 1 at 10:15 at the Benton Middle School athletic field.
It was confirmed that two adult men were shot during the incident.
One 24 year old man had to be flown to an area hospital the second victim a 33 year male suffered non- life threatening wounds.
That victim was transported by Ambulance to a hospital.
Both men are expected to survive their wounds.
The shooter who is still at large has now been identified as 23 year old Isaiah Malik Gordon of Dumfries.
Gordon is wanted on two counts of aggravated malicious wounding two counts of use of a firearm during the commission of a felony and two counts of use of a firearm on school grounds and one count of having a firearm on school grounds.
Police have offered up to $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Gordon.
The shooting stemmed from a verbal altercation between the three men who knew each other.
The verbal altercation escalated to Gordon drawing a gun and shooting the two men and then he fleeing.
