Triplett Tech students prepare for state level competitions

Students from Shenandoah County Public School’s Triplett Tech will compete in two upcoming state level competitions in Virginia Beach next month.

Eight students will travel to the State FCCLA competition April 12th-14th to compete in the Food Innovations competition for students of the culinary arts and the Focus on Children competition for students studying early childhood education.

This is the first time Triplett Tech Students have advanced to the state level FCCLA Competition.

Fifteen other Triplett Tech students who placed at the district level SkillsUSA competition will move on to the state competition April 19th-21st to compete in skills like masonry, bricklaying, carpentry, cosmetology, and more.

Triplett Tech Principal Todd Lynn said, “These contests allow our students to showcase what they have learned here at Triplett Tech. Their skills are a testament to the hard work and dedication of both our students and staff.”
