Staunton Police charge 15 with online solicitation of a minor
A press release from the Staunton Police Department reports a task force investigation of online solicitation of minors have resulted in the arrest of 15 men.
Those arrested include Carroll Lucas of New Market charged with two counts of online solicitation and one count of indecent liberties of a minor under 15.
Roy Woodward of Shenandoah has been arrested on three counts of online solicitations of a minor under 15 and one count of indecent liberties.
Matthew French of Warrenton is charged with 5 counts of online solicitation and one count of attempted indecent liberties of a minor under 15.
The news release from Public Information Officer Sergeant Edward Butch Shifflet also reports the arrest of the following men.
Roger Trainer of Harrisonburg Virginia along with Alexi Correa-Jimenez of Rockingham Virginia.
Ethan Shifflett and Joseph Boyne both of Stauntan Virginia.
Damon Hern and David Campos-Nolazco both of Waynesboro Virginia are also facing charges.
Louis Packett of Warsaw and William Ellwanger of Salem are facing charges in the investigation as well.
Matthew Descalarre of Charlottesville also faces charges.
Isaac Eye and Robert Hinkle of Fort Seybert and Fisher West Virginia respectively are facing charges along with Wesley Penley of Morgnton North Carolina.
The Staunton Police Department is a member Agency of the Southern Virginia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
