The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) in an email announced a new traffic pattern begins Mon. Jan. 31 in Stephens City.

First the traffic signal will be removed from the Aylor Rd. Fairfax Pike intersection.

The newly constructed section of Aylor Rd. will be open on Mon. Jan. 31.

Motorist need to be aware that you will find dedicated right and left turn lanes for turning on to Aylor Rd. or Stickley Dr..

Again the changes go into effect Mon. Jan. 31 use caution in those areas as drivers adjust.
