The Virginia Department of Health’s Lord Fairfax Health District is offering a free community COVID-19 testing event.

This will take place tomorrow May 12 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Frederick Douglas Park.

The park is located between N. Kent St. and Smithfield Ave. Winchester.

No appointment is necessary for testing.

Those under the age of 18 wishing to get tested need parental consent.

The Health Department will provide results in two to three days by telephone.
