They are known as man’s best friend and this particular breed is larger than a majority of men. The Mastiff, standing between 27-35 inches tall and weighing around 200-230 pounds, is among the biggest dog breeds alive today. As a matter of fact, a lot of the dogs on the “biggest list” are some variety of Mastiff. The English Mastiff, the Neapolitan Mastiff, the Bull Mastiff and the Tibetan Mastiff. Their hearts are as big as they are strong, peaceful and very loyal to their human family. Most Mastiff varieties don’t require extensive grooming and only light exercise.
