Nats, O’s Back In Action, Finau Wins Delayed PGA Event, Hornets Picked Third.

The Washington Nationals return to action tonight when they start a series against the Miami Marlins. The Nats and Fish are 4th and 5th respectively in the NL East, with the rebuilding Nationals 14 games back in the division. Air time is 6:40 from the Sunshine State on Sports Radio 1450.

The Los Angeles Angels visit Camden Yards to take on the Baltimore Orioles. The O’s will try to break an 18-game losing skid. First pitch is set for 7:05.

Tony Finau won the delayed Northern Trust PGA event from New Jersey, defeating Australia’s Cameron Smith in a playoff. The win was Finau’s first Tour win in more than 5 years. The final round was played yesterday after Hurricane Henri washed out Sunday’s play.

And, the Shenandoah University Field Hockey team is picked to finish 3rd in the ODAC in the pre-season poll of the league’s coaches. The Hornets are coming off a 7-4 pandemic-shortened 2020 campaign. Lynchburg is the pre-season favorite.
