An announcement from the town of Front Royal announced a building code transition.

Warren County Building Inspections will begin issuing all building and trade permits going forward.

All permits issued by the town of Front Royal will be transferred to the Warren County Building Department.

The Department of Housing and Community Development will be notified of the change in authority from town to county within 30 days as per Virginia code.

Updates to records will be done accordingly.
