WMH celebrates one year anniversary
Warren Memorial Hospital is celebrating its one year anniversary in their $100 million facility today.
They started the morning off with the Hills to Wellness 5k which travels down Leach Run, Happy Creek, and John Marshall Highway.
Then the celebration will start at the hospital at 11 am.
They will have kids activities like a bouncy house, teddy bear clinic, and face painting.
There will also be educational opportunities like hands on CPR, fire and rescue vehicles to explore, and more.
Warren Memorial will also have information about their services and health and wellness checks for the family.
Lonnie Hill will be broadcasting live from the celebration, so make sure to stop by and say hello!
WMH offers tours of the facility
Warren Memorial Hospital and Valley Health are offering community tours of their new facility in Front Royal.
The new hospital opens June 23 at 351 Valley Health Way Front Royal.
Space is limited for these tours and face masks are required as well as registration at valleyhealthlink.com/wmhtours.
Visitors will be standing and walking for up to 30 minutes at a time so comfortable shoes are recommended.
You should also be comfortable with riding in elevators.

Tours are scheduled for June 12 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. leaving approximately every 20 minutes.

Points of Vaccinations in LFHD
A Frederick County Point of Distribution or POD for vaccinations against the Coronavirus will do a pilot opening today Jan. 12 for a small group at the James R. Wilkins Jr and Athletics and Events Center at Shenandoah University.
The facility will be open to the general public for approximately 12 hours starting tomorrow morning Jan. 13.
Other PODS will open at Warren Memorial, Shenandoah Memorial as well as Page Memorial Hospitals.
