Handley Library offers a rare behind the scenes tour

The Handley Regional Library announced in The latest Winchester CIT-E newsletter a rare tour of their Winchester branch.

This behind the scenes look at the library will feature information and items not always available to the public.

The tour will meet in the building’s rotunda at 11 a.m. at 100 Piccadilly St. Winchester.

Attendees will learn of the building’s iconic architecture and history.

The tour will walk the glass floors and get to few the rarely seen well that is under the facility’s stage.

FEMA is in Winchester with information on vaccinations

A Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) team will be going door to door as well as setting up outside of businesses and attending events in Winchester.

The group will be in blue vests with Virginia Department of Health (VDH) on their backs.

They are in Winchester to provide information on local COVID-19 vaccination clinics and answers questions you may have.

The team will be in Winchester through mid August.
