News Maker Lavenda Denney on Winchester SPCA’s paws and pages

The Winchester Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) is introducing a program that could be relaxing for both humans and adoptable pets.

We spoke to Winchester SPCA Executive Director Lavenda Denney about the program Paws and Pages in our latest news maker.

The good news is brought to you by The Town of Front Royal.

Lavenda explains how reading to the adoptable pets has a real reaction from the animals.

Lavenda also tells us how it can relax the person doing the reading as well.
