SABF tickets for some events have gone on sale

An email from the Executive Director of the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival (SABF) Bradley Veach announced tickets for some events have gone on sale.

The email went on to say that several new events will be added and announced in the coming weeks.

One of the new events already announced is the Breakfast with Miss. Apple Blossom Savanna Marcum for Apr. 23.

Registration for the Apple Blossom Golf Classic is also open now.

Tickets for Wine Fest, Cider tasting, Pumps and Pearls and Lady’s Commonwealth Luncheon, Rock and Roll, 90’s and 80’s dance Parties, Stag Lunch and Square Dance have all gone on sale.

The festival this year will be a full scale traditional Apple Blossom Festival celebration of spring from Apr.22 through May 1.

Tickets and information on the events will be released through the weeks ahead at thebloom.com.

Belle Grove’s annual wine fest has returned

Belle Grove Plantation’s Annual Wine Fest will kick off today starting at 11 am and will wrap up at 6 pm.

The event will feature wine, cider, and mead from across Virginia as well as a few local breweries and distilleries.

Live music will be playing all day thanks to the Gingerfunk Allstars and the Elizabeth Lawrence Band.

A chef’s demo will also be held along with plenty of food and merchandise vendors.

Tickets are $30 at the gate and tasters will receive a souvenir glass.

Options are available for non-drinkers as well.

SABF opened this weekend

We are back in Bloom here in the Valley as the 94th Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival is underway.

This weekend will feature a few events including the Stonebrook Club Tennis Tournament.

The USTA sanctioned event is returning for its 5th year as a part of the festival.

The Apple Blossom Carnival is back as well, which will be operating all weekend long off Valley Avenue.

Today’s marquee event will be the Bloomin Wine Fest which is being held in a new location this year, the Frederick County Fairgrounds.
