Quicksburg woman leads police on a high speed chase

A Quicksburg woman took Virginia State Police on a high speed chase after initially being pulled over for improper registration.

Rebecca E. Frost fled from the initial stop only to be chased through James Madison University’s campus and on to Interstate 81.

The pursuit ended with a State Trooper striking her vehicle causing it to spin and come to a stop on Route 340.

Frost has been charged with one felony count of eluding along with a felony count of assault on an Officer.

She also faces reckless driving, driving on a revoked license charges and faces several traffic infractions.

The chase reached speeds of up to 100 miles per hour at times.

No one was hurt in the incident.
