The bodies of a Front Royal man and his son are recovered

The bodies of a 43 year old Front Royal man and his 10 year old son have been recovered from the Potomac River.
ABC news affiliate WMRE reports that the Pimentel family had their 23 foot bowrider boat anchored on the Potomac near Swan Point in Charles County Maryland.
The Pimentel children ages 10 and 12 were swimming when they both began to struggle.
The father, Elias jumped into the water but he and his 10 year old son did not resurface.
The 12 year old boy was recovered and taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Dive teams were able to recover the body of the 10 year old around 10:45 Mon. night Aug. 1.
The father’s body was recovered around 11 a.m. Tues. morning Aug 2.
Maryland Natural Resources Police Officers conducted the recovery and investigation of the incident.
