Three Treated for Serious Injuries Following Crash
December 11, 2019
WARREN – Three women were transported to Winchester Medical Center for treatment of “serious injuries” following a multi-car crash in Warren County.
Brittney N. White of Front Royal was traveling west on Route 55 when she attempted to pass a Nissan in front of her over a double yellow line. A 2006 Hyundai Sonata was eastbound at the time White tried to pass the vehicle in front of her. White tried to avoid the Hyundai, but instead collided with the Nissan. This caused her vehicle to crash head first into the Hyundai.
White, her passenger and the 17-year-old driver of the Hyundai all suffered serious injuries according to a press release from the Virginia State Police. The driver of the Nissan was uninjured in the crash, and each driver involved was wearing a seatbelt.
White was charged with reckless driving/passing at a hillcrest. The crash is still under investigation by the Virginia State Police.
