Motorcycle Crash Kills One in Clarke County
A three-vehicle crash in Clarke County killed one person on a motorcycle Sunday (5/26/2019) and seriously injured another.
The crash took place at 12:52 p.m. on Route 612, three-quarters of a mile south of Route 340. 32-year-old Berryville resident Stephen Lilly was driving his Harley Davidson Motorcycle north when he lost control, striking a Yamaha Motorcycle from the rear. Lilly was thrown from his bike and struck by a Chrysler Town and Country; he was killed at the scene. The driver of the Yamaha, a 32-year-old Winchester man, was taken to the Winchester Medical Center with serious injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
