Top of VA Regional Chamber Holds 2019 Greater Good Awards

The Top of Virginia Regional Chamber gave out its 2019 Greater Good Awards as part of a celebration Friday (1/25/2019) evening.

The purpose of the “Greater Good Awards” is to celebrate outstanding individuals and businesses for the contributions they make to the quality of life and economic stability of the Northern Shenandoah Valley. 28 individuals and business were nominated in all, and judges evaluated them by criteria including community involvement, ethics, leadership, creativity, and economic impact. The winners for 2019 were John Habuda of Shenandoah Valley IT for Entrepreneur of the Year, Fremont Street Nursery for Small Business of the Year, The Village at Orchard Ridge for Large Business of the year, Andy Gail for Emerging Leader, and Dixon Whitworth for Citizen of the Year.
