Town of Front Royal is cleared of wrongdoing
The Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) has cleared the Town of Front Royal of wrongdoing.
The Warren County Sheriff’s Office asked the DEQ to investigate alleged illegal dumping.
The allegations involved the Town illegally disposing of sludge at the Warren County Transfer Station.
That action would violate laws, code and the town’s permit.
The DEQ found no such violation.
