Trick-or-Treating in Front Royal
Front Royal’s interim Town Manager Matthew Tederick reports that the town is “not cancelling Halloween.”
Rather the town is leaving it up to the discretion of parents and homeowners whether they choose to participate.
However, the town will not be sponsoring the Main Street Hometown Halloween celebration as it has in the past.
Many Main Street merchants will participate in a Halloween celebration.
Again the town leaves participation to the discretion of parents and merchants.
The Front Royal Police Department is expected to release safety recommendations early next week.
All participants in Trick-or-Treating are requested to follow the police recommendations.
