Tropical storm Ophelia update

Virginia State Police encourages Virginians to plan ahead as Tropical Storm Ophelia makes her way inland.

If you must travel during the storm, please slow down, this will give you more time to safely react to the wet conditions.

Never drive through standing water and do not tail gate.

Be sure to buckle up and stay off your phones.

Lastly, make sure you have plenty of gas and that your vehicle is running properly.
