Virginia State Police (VSP) confirm by email that they have obtained two new felony indictments against two former Warren County Deputies.

The two officers named in the indictments Tyler S. Poe and Zachary A. Fadely are no longer employed by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.

The email confirms that on April 8 a Warren County Grand Jury handed up an indictment of homicide for each former deputy.

The pair were involved in the traffic stop involving Ralph Ennis on April 2, 2022.

During that traffic stop Ennis was knocked to the ground and hit his head.

Ennis passed away almost two weeks later in hospice care.

Court documents confirm that Fadely and Poe have a scheduled Warren County Circuit Court Criminal Division appearance May 31.
