
Two Front Royal Residents Displaced by Fire

Two Front Royal residents have been displaced after a fire in the 400 block of West 15th Street.
The Warren County Department of Fire and Rescue was called to the blaze at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2019. Upon arrival, they found the single family dwelling had significant fire in its basement, first floor, and roof, and that radiant heat was beginning to ignite a nearby vehicle and home. The fire was marked under control by 2:14 p.m.; it caused an estimated $400,000 in property and content damage. One of the home’s occupants was treated for injuries after entering the burning household to rescue a pet, and a firefighter was also treated for a minor injury on scene.
