More than $24 million in Affordable and Special Needs Housing loans are being awarded to 28 projects across Virginia.
Funding comes in part from The Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development (VDHCD).
This funding will help preserve 1,635 affordable housing units for low income and disabled people.
One beneficiary of the funding is Blue Ridge Habitat for Humanity receiving $4000,000.
Winchester’s Forest 9% Better Housing Coalition will receive $700,000.
