United Way NSV’s COVID-19 Relief Fund reaches $53,830, matching funds available
United Way of Northern Shenandoah Valley announced they have received $26,916 in private donations for their COVID-19 Relief Fund. The donations are being matched by the United Way NSV through emergency funding, bringing the current total to $53,830 raised.
The first grant recipients — Faithworks, Highland Food Pantry, Blue Ridge Housing Network Inc. and Dr. Terry Sinclair Health Clinic — will receive the funds immediately. There is still $23,084 left in matching funds available; United Way NSV is asking the public to please consider making a donation. 100 percent of United Way NSV’s emergency funding is going directly toward relief.
