United Way Offers Free Photo’s With Santa

30 November 2017 Community

United Way of Northern Shenandoah Valley will be hosting pictures with Santa on Saturday, December 2nd from 11:00-1:00pm at Our Health in the Eagle Board Room (329 N. Cameron St. Winchester VA).

Professional digital pictures are offered for FREE to all who attend, courtesy of Stephanie Leigh Photography and Design. The Winchester Police Department will also be partnering with United Way to hold Cocoa with a Cop at the event, serving as an opportunity to enjoy cocoa with the Winchester Police Department while children wait for their turn with Santa.

In addition, they will also be offering free fingerprinting services for children. Nibblins, a local Winchester cooking store, is also providing a free cookie decorating station for children who attend.

“During the holidays, families are having to make particularly tough choices with their budgets, choices that effect their children meeting Santa, something no child should miss out on. We hope that this holiday we are able to make a real difference for families by offering a free memorable keepsake and family experience that can brighten the season for our tiniest residents,” said Nadine Pottinga, CEO of the United Way of Northern Shenandoah Valley.

United Way is also partnering with the Winchester Area NAACP as well as the North End Citizens’ Association for this event.
