18 April 2016 News

FRONT ROYAL, VA–The United Way of Front Royal/Warren County is gearing up for the 2016 Day of Caring.  This year’s event will be held on Friday, May 6 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

United Way Executive Director Lee Smith-Osina says the non-profit has some projects lined up and is now turning to the public to find volunteers.

Both skilled and non-skilled volunteers who can complete projects ranging from yard work to carpet replacement, window repair to plumbing fixes are all needed.

The evening will end with a banquet celebrating the United Way Volunteer of the Year.

For more information about signing up to help with the free day of caring or attending the banquet, which is open to the public, call 540-635-3636.
