December 17, 2019

FRONT ROYAL – The Town of Front Royal released a public notice to warn residents about an upcoming road closure in early January.

The Water and Sewer department will install utility lines on W. Duck St. on January 2, 2020. The utility lines are being placed to service new residencies on the street.

W. Duck St. will be closed from Forest Hill Dr. to the first VDOT entrance to the street, from  7:30 a.m to 3:30 p.m on Jan. 2 according to the Town. There will be detours in place for residents in the Hensel Stone Subdivision so they may exit their community using Forest Hill Dr.

Motorists have been asked to use caution while driving in the area that day, work crews will be operating on Duck St. and signage will be in place around the street.

If there is inclement weather or rain, the installation will be performed on Jan. 3, 2020 instead.
