The United Way of the Northern Shenandoah Valley recommits to the nonprofits of the Northern Shenandoah Valley.
The organization is pledging over $505,000 to 36 Education, Financial Stability and Health Programs.
The amount is 10% more than they were able to distribute to nonprofits last year.
Some of the beneficiaries include:
Healthy Families of Northern Shenandoah Valley receiving $4,650
Healthy Families of Shenandoah and Page receiving $10,000
Museum of the Shenandoah Valley receiving $3,500
Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum receiving $14,267
Winchester Day Preschool receiving $15,000
Blue Ridge Habitat for Humanity receiving $37,000
Blue Ridge Housing Network, Inc. receiving $10,000
Blue Ridge Legal Services, Inc. receiving $11,765
Concern Hotline receiving $10,000
Choices of Page County Inc. receiving $8,000.
