VA. Marine Police recover a body at Chincoteague

ABC News reports that Virginia Marine Police recovered a body at Chincoteague.

Monday afternoon Virginia Marine Police recovered the body off of Virginia’s Eastern Shore just after 1 p.m..

The body is believed to be that of  missing Warren County resident Nathan Jenkins.

Authorities are waiting for the positive identification of the body by a medical examiner.

Jenkins was lost in a boating accident while duck hunting at Chincoteague Jan. 22.

He and one other were lost in the incident.

Marine Police and The River 953 extend heartfelt condolences to the victim’s friends and family.
