Valley Gas Prices Decline After Peak

24 September 2017 News

Gas prices in the Northern Shenandoah Valley appear to have declined slightly now that we are a few weeks removed from Hurricane Harvey. Regular unleaded could be found at many stations around Front Royal on Friday for $2.39 per gallon, according to gasbuddy.com.

The price had climbed to about $2.50 per gallon right after the hurricane hit the Texas refineries.

The average unleaded gasoline price in Virginia was $2.45/gallon, which also happened to be the price at stations at Stephens City on Friday.
