VDOT Announces Significant Warren County Traffic Delays
3 December 2017 News
The Virginia Department of Transportation announced that drivers using Route 340/522 (Shenandoah Avenue) in Warren County just north of Front Royal can expect significant traffic delays December 4th through the 8th.
Left or right lane closures are scheduled from 9 AM to 3 PM daily for paving and applying line-markings. This work is part of the final stages of construction on the South Fork Shenandoah River Bridge and Quadrant Roadway Intersection (QRI) project that opened in November.
Motorists may be able to avoid congestion on Route 340/522 by using John Marshall Highway (Rout 55 East) instead, between Front Royal and Interstate 66 at exit 13 in the Linden area.
