VDOT diligently clearing the roads

With a winter weather advisory in effect until 6 p.m. tonight and snow to continue through tomorrow.

Freezing and frozen precipitation will keep roads slick.

City, Town and County Crews across the region are working diligently to clear the roads as fast as possibly.

Main roads are top priority with back and secondary roads to follow.

In the meantime you can help the crews by giving them plenty of time and room to work.

Stay off the roads if possible and park in driveways not on the side of the road so plows can move quicker and easier.
