VDOT urges caution on the roads
Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) urges motorist to postpone all but emergency trips.
VDOT crews continue plowing and treating the roads on rotating shifts for continuous treatment.
Interstates and primary roads along with major secondary roads are top priorities.
Conditions are likely to deteriorate as the precipitation continues to fall.
If you do have to drive be alert give space watch for slick spots give plows room and use caution.
