Virginia Authorities remind motorist to share the road

Virginia State Police (VSP) and Law Enforcement across the region remind motorist to share the road.
This after an email from VSP reports launching an investigation into the death of a bicyclist.
The accident occurred on Apr. 11 at approximately 7:45 a.m. in Rockingham County.
Kenneth W. Zimmerman of Dayton Virginia was struck from behind by a Chevrolet Equinox driven by a 17-year-old unidentified Rockingham County resident.
The 26-year-old Zimmerman who was not wearing a helmet succumbed to his injuries in route to the hospital.
The female of the Equinox was wearing her seatbelt and was left uninjured in the crash.
Charges are pending with the conclusion of the investigation.
