Virtual job fair to connect employers and job seekers

25 April 2020 Covid19 Luray/Page County Shenandoah County Front Royal/Warren County Winchester Frederick County Clarke County News

The Top of Virginia Regional Chamber is connecting job seekers with employers via a virtual job fair. The event will feature “break out rooms” of many different employers currently hiring throughout our region, with the first of the four sessions being dedicated to youth job seekers aged 16 to 18. The event will take place over Zoom on May 7 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with each session lasting one hour with a one hour break at noon.

There is no entry fee for job seekers, though you are required to choose one session during the registration process.

For employers who wish to participate in the job fair, there is a fee of $100 to participate in sessions two through four, and a $125 fee if you would like to participate in all four sessions.

If you are interested in participating as either a job seeker or an employer, please register online.

Janet had a conversation with Cynthia Schneider, CEO of Top of Virginia Regional Chamber about the virtual job fair on a recent episode of The Valley Today. You can listen to that episode here: https://theriver953.com/podcast/tovrc-offers-telemed-virtual-job-fair/
