VML’s If I were Mayor contest
The Virginia Municipal League (VML) invites all eligible Virginia 7th Graders to participate in the essay contest “If I were Mayor”.
Regional winners from around the state will receive $150 cash prizes and a plaque.
One statewide winner, chosen from the regional winners will receive $250 and a plaque.
The runner-up from the statewide winner region will become that region’s winner.
Winning essays will be featured in the VML’s May edition of Virginia Town and City.
