VSP ask for safety first over the holiday

The Virginia State Police (VSP) are reminding travelers to bring their Safety First Mindset to the roadways this Memorial Day Holiday.

The National Click It or Ticket seat belt campaign is in full force throughout the holiday.

VSP will be especially watchful for distracted driving, speeding as well as impaired driving.

With 22 lives having been lost in accidents since Wed. May 26 safety is imperative over the holiday weekend.
