VSP investigate a fatal accident in Clarke Co.
Virginia State Police (VSP) responded to a single vehicle crash in Berryville.
The accident occurred on N. Buckmarsh St. and Academy St. when a vehicle ran off the road striking two street signs and a utility pole.
The preliminary report indicates that 57 year old Charles B. Holmes of Charles Town may have had a medical emergency which led to the accident.
Holmes was transported to Winchester Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.
