Warren Coalition hosts fentanyl discussion with special guest

The Warren Coalition is holding a presentation titled “Fentanyl 101: Understanding the New Weapon of Mass Destruction” on Tuesday, May 23rd at Samuels Public Library.

The event will have a special guest speaker to start the presentation in the Honorable James “Jim” Carroll, a former Director of the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy.

The presentation will be offered at noon and again at 6:30 pm.

Carroll will only be attending the noon session.

Warren Coalition Executive Director Christa Shifflett will speak at both sessions about the basics and trends surrounding fentanyl including how opioids affect the body, tips for preventing misuse, and how to help those struggling with addiction.

A Q&A session will follow each presentation and feel free to bring lunch or dinner with you.
