Warren County Board of Supervisors Appoints New EDA Board Member
Marjorie Martin was named the Front Royal-Warren County Economic Development Authority’s newest board member, the fourth EDA appointment since October. At the July 17th meeting, supervisor Tom Sayre motioned that Mark Egger be appointed as a board member; a motion that failed by a 3-2 vote. Both Egger and his daughter have been vocal critics of the EDA. Supervisor Tony Carter motioned that Martin be appointed, which passed. Martin will fill the seat of Bruce Drummond, who resigned last week. Appointed in 2014, he was the EDA’s longest-tenured board member.
